Dippin’ Dots, the “ice cream of the future,” just got a double scoop of “future.”

The Kentucky based ice cream creator recently unveiled what they are calling the first ever fully interactive mobile website that combines augmented reality with an ease-of-use fan loyalty program, via mobile platform provider Bubandu.

The Bubandu mobile platform allows Dippin’ Dots consumers to scan qualifying purchases at Dippin’ Dots vending machines, franchises, kiosks, festivals, and events, to earn points.  In addition, the platform provides “experiences” for consumers that includes "making it rain Dippin' Dots" in the store, a “Cookies n’ Cream Machine” game and a “Bubble Gum Blaster” game.

The launch of this loyalty program will allow Dippin’ Dots’ fiercely loyal fan base the opportunity to engage with the brand without need for a mobile app, loyalty card, or user updates.
