Marriott Bonvoy has recently introduced a new digital platform that allows travelers to book their trip based on the experience they want. Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors offers access to over 450 hotels, 50,000 homes and villas, and curated tours and activities, allowing users to plan trips centered around activities such as skiing, hiking, biking, scuba diving, surfing, fishing, and paddling.
In conjunction with the platform, Marriott Bonvoy has launched the Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy, a curated portfolio of outdoor-focused, design-forward accommodations situated in remarkable destinations, including cabins in National Parks, to boutique hotels on cliffs’ edges. Each property in this collection offers gorgeous scenic views and all the essential needs such as a cozy bed, running hot water, and dedicated restrooms.
To further engage travelers, Marriott Bonvoy has partnered with TV personality and filmmaker Dylan Efron to launch the Drop Pin Challenge. This real-world treasure hunt spans 20 iconic outdoor destinations in the U.S. and Canada, offering participants the chance to win Marriott Bonvoy points by scanning codes on physical map pins. The first 50 eligible individuals to scan each pin can earn 10,000 points, with a total of 10 million points available across the challenge.
Additionally, Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors has teamed up with Outside Interactive to release a series of curated Marriott Bonvoy Moments. These immersive experiences are designed to connect guests with nature, adventure, and storytelling. Initial offerings include unique adventures such as hiking along the Kauai coastline and kayaking through Hanalei Bay in Hawaii, snorkeling in Belize, and more.
