Bank of America recently brought back its highly anticipated More Rewards Day on Thursday, November 6, 2025. As the holiday shopping season begins, the bank is once again gave Consumer and Business credit cardholders the opportunity to earn bonus rewards on purchases for one day only.
Since its launch, the annual event has proven popular among customers, with Bank of America cardholders projected to accumulate over $100 million in extra rewards, including $74 million earned during the first three years.
Bank of America Head of Consumer Card Products, Lora Monfared, said, “We’re excited to uphold this annual holiday tradition and share this special offer with our clients. More Rewards Day is all about celebrating our cardholders by awarding them bonus cash back, Miles, or points as they prepare for the increased festivities and spending that the holiday season brings.”
During the More Rewards Day event, eligible cardholders had the chance to earn 2% cash back, 2 points per dollar spent, or 2 miles per dollar on up to $2,500 in purchases. This was in addition to their usual rewards.
New cardholders with Customized Cash Rewards or Unlimited Cash Rewards cards were able to stack the offer with their first-year bonuses, allowing them to earn up to 8% cash back in select categories and 4% on all other purchases.
Even those without rewards cards received a 2% statement credit, ensuring all customers benefit.
The event came as consumers increasingly turn to reward programs to help manage holiday expenses. A recent Bank of America survey found that 36% of shoppers facing financial pressure plan to use credit card rewards to offset costs.
All active Bank of America Consumer and Business credit cards were eligible for the promotion. Preferred Rewards members earned their standard bonuses.
