Coors Light Introduces Built-in Cool Technology, Cold Tux and BrrrTie
Summer weddings are beautiful, but not always comfortable, especially for those sweating it out in formalwear. Recognizing that peak wedding season often coincides with peak warm temperatures, Coors Light is offering a refreshingly cool and stylish solution. Known for its ice-cold beer, the brand is extending its chill reputation with two new innovations designed to keep wedding parties cool: the Cold Tux and the BrrrTie. These specially designed garments are tailored for grooms, groomsmen, and guests who want to stay cool, confident, and sweat-free during even the hottest “I do’s.”
Coors Light Vice President of Marketing Marcelo Pascoa said, “If any beer is going to keep you chill during your vows with a cold-activated tux and bow tie, it’s Coors Light. With the BrrrTie, and a Coors Light delivering mountain cold refreshment in hand, we’re giving people new ways to stay chill on their big day…literally.”
The Cold Tux made its debut earlier this month in Winter Park, Florida, marking the world’s first tuxedo with built-in cooling technology. Developed in partnership with creative firm M ssn g P eces and ad agency Droga5, the tux features a breathable linen shell and a hidden cooling system powered by ice-pack rods. When the “Chill-o-stat” turns blue, the suit is perfectly chilled, providing full-body comfort without compromising style. In addition, the brand is rolling out a complementary cooling accessory, the BrrrTie, which offers targeted neck cooling for up to 40 minutes, helping wedding-goers beat the heat in style.
