Sephora Introduces 2026 Beauty Insider Birthday Gifts Packed With Cult Favorites

Sephora is kicking off 2026 with an expanded and highly anticipated lineup of birthday gifts for Beauty Insider members across the U.S. and Canada. The new offerings spotlight a mix of favorites, prestige staples, and surprise drops throughout the year, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to making member birthdays feel personal and celebratory. The free Beauty Insider program has grown into one of the beauty industry’s most successful loyalty platforms, reaching a record 45 million members in North America in 2025. Birthday gifts remain one of its most valued perks, designed to reward members at every tier with thoughtful, trend-driven selections.

Sephora N.A. SVP and General Manager of Loyalty, Emeline Berlind, said, “Our annual birthday gifts are the most-loved benefit of our Beauty Insider program, and with our biggest year yet at more than 45 million members in North America, we aim to deliver the best in beauty and make each and every Beauty Insider member feel special and valued on their birthday. The birthday gifts are selected with the intent to bring an extra bit of delight – whether that’s discovering a new favorite product or restocking a routine staple - It’s our way of saying thank you to our incredible community that continues to grow and celebrate with us every year.”

In the first half of 2026, all Beauty Insider tiers can choose from sought-after brands such as Dr. Dennis Gross, Glossier, Tower 28 Beauty, and Dae, with additional launches from K18, Gisou, and innisfree during the second half of the year. VIB and Rouge members will also enjoy rotating online-exclusive gifts, beginning with luxury fragrances from Jo Malone London. For those who prefer flexibility, members can opt for 250 Beauty Insider points instead of a physical gift. Birthday rewards can be redeemed in-store or online, with standard minimum purchase requirements applying.

Cinemark and Lowe’s Turn National Popcorn Day Into a Two-Day, Bring-Your-Own-Bucket Celebration

Cinemark Holdings, Inc. is expanding its National Popcorn Day tradition with a two-day Bring Your Own Bucket celebration taking place on January 18 and 19, partnering with Lowe’s to make the event bigger than ever. Guests at more than 300 Cinemark theaters across the U.S. can bring any container to be filled with up to 400 ounces of popcorn for just $5. Fans who arrive with Lowe’s iconic blue 5-gallon bucket can have it completely filled, bypassing the size limit, and will receive a coupon for future popcorn purchases.

Cinemark Chief Marketing and Content Officer Wanda Gierhart Fearing said, “Last year’s Bring Your Own Bucket event for National Popcorn Day reimagined what this holiday could be for all movie-popcorn lovers, as people showed incredible creativity with their vessels and made the celebration truly unforgettable for both guests and our theater teams. This year, we are thrilled to build on that fun by teaming up with Lowe’s to make the experience even bigger and better. With two full days of festivities as well as special sweepstakes and promotions, we cannot wait to see how much this year’s celebration will heat up.”

Building on last year’s social media buzz, the promotion encourages creativity while delivering major value for moviegoers. Guests without a bucket can still enjoy all popcorn sizes for $5 during both days, and food-grade liners will be available upon request. The popcorn party extends beyond the concession stand with online games, social media sweepstakes, discounted gift cards, and special rewards for Cinemark loyalty members.
Select theaters will also offer Butter Chardonnay throughout January, adding a playful twist to the festivities. While no movie ticket is required to participate, Cinemark hopes the celebration will draw guests into theaters to pair the beloved snack with a big-screen experience, reinforcing popcorn’s role as the true star of moviegoing.
