Lobyco and Calgary Co-op Partnership Expanded
 
Retail loyalty platform Lobyco announced that it is expanding its partnership with North American retail cooperative Calgary Co-op. This extended collaboration comes after the success of their initial partnership, which began with a revamped loyalty program and a member-exclusive mobile app. Since September 2023, Calgary Co-op members have used the app to access personalized offers, play games for discounted and free items, earn Calgary Co-op Bonus Cash, view receipts, and manage their digital shopping lists and payments. The program has significantly boosted membership and engagement. More than 100,000 members regularly use the app.
 
“We couldn’t be more delighted about Calgary Co-op’s success,” said Anders Mittag, Chief Commercial Officer at Lobyco. “Since the outset of our relationship, we’ve known there was significant potential for a comprehensive loyalty program that would delight customers through digital engagement and gamification. We’re thrilled to be working with a North American business and are excited for what’s to come.”
 
The expanded loyalty program encompasses a robust brand ecosystem, including its groceries, pharmacy, fuel, home health care, liquor, and cannabis categories. Members can join for just $1 and benefit from a patronage program that distributes a share of the co-op’s profits annually in cash and shares based on member spending. The app allows members to monitor profit-sharing progress and receive their previous year’s patronage.

Tractor Supply Foundation Donates More Than $150K for Severe Weather Relief
 
Following devastating storms that included approximately 125 tornadoes across the United States May 6-10, 2024, Tractor Supply Company and its foundation are pledging more than $150,000 to support relief efforts in hard-hit regions, including Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Tennessee, and Michigan. The Tractor Supply Company Foundation is also pledging another $50,000 to the State of Texas Agriculture Relief (STAR). The contributions will assist farmers, ranchers, agribusiness owners, and producers affected by recent severe weather events. 
 
“When disaster strikes, our first thoughts are always of our many friends and neighbors in these communities,” said Marti Skold-Jordan, Manager of the Tractor Supply Company Foundation. “It is our privilege to contribute to these relief organizations and offer on-the-ground support whenever possible to help these communities recover and rebuild.”
 
Tractor Supply stores have handed out gift cards to local nonprofits and shelters to assist in purchasing essential supplies like generators, tarps, tools, gloves, pet supplies, and more. Team members have also been actively involved in ensuring stores are well-stocked with emergency supplies and providing support to their communities.
 
Additionally, Tractor Supply is teaming up with Miranda Lamber’s MuttNation Foundation Relief for Rescues, Greater Good Charities, and the Relief for Rescues to support animal shelters and provide pet food and wellness vaccines to pet families in Texas and Oklahoma.
