Instacart Partners with Pet Supplies Plus

Instacart has announced a new partnership with Pet Supplies Plus, the largest pet retail franchise in the U.S., expanding its pet category and bringing greater convenience to pet owners nationwide. The collaboration enables customers to shop from more than 11,000 products and 400 trusted brands through the Instacart app, with same-day delivery available from over 700 stores in as fast as one hour. Shoppers can also access exclusive discounts, including special member-only pricing, making everyday pet essentials more accessible and affordable.

The partnership also includes Wag N’ Wash, Pet Supplies Plus’s sister brand focused on grooming, self-wash, and natural pet food, adding more than 20 additional locations to Instacart’s network. With this addition, Instacart becomes the only online marketplace to feature all five of the nation’s top pet retail chains.

To celebrate the launch, Instacart is offering a $15 discount on first-time orders of $75 or more from Pet Supplies Plus or Wag N’ Wash, valid through November 16.

Cheesecake Factory Plans to Launch App in 2026

In the first half of 2026, The Cheesecake Factory plans to roll out its first mobile app, as revealed by President David Gordon during the company’s Q3 earnings call. The app is designed to allow guests to make reservations, access order history, redeem rewards, and place off-premises or repeat orders more easily.

The brand introduced its rewards program in mid-2023. Gordon said the company wanted to ensure the value proposition was clear: ““Without a rewards program it became a little more challenging to find a value proposition for the consumer,” Gordon said. “We really wanted to make sure this made sense for someone to take up that real estate on their phone, when your average guest is coming four to six times a year,” he said.

In addition to the app news, The Cheesecake Factory reported results for the quarter ended Sept. 30: total revenue hit about $907 million, up from $865.5 million a year ago. Same-store sales at the Cheesecake Factory brand rose 0.3 % while its sister fast-casual concept Flower Child posted same‐store sales up 7 %, significantly outpacing the fast-casual segment.
