7-Eleven Launches Make My Day with $5k

7-Eleven, Inc. has launched its Make My Day With $5K program, a year-long initiative that gives customers the chance to win $5,000 through the 7-Eleven and Speedway apps. Designed as a way to thank loyal shoppers, the program has already awarded more than $1 million in prizes to over 400 winners across 34 states since it began earlier this year. Each winner is chosen through the 7-Eleven and Speedway apps, making the sweepstakes tightly integrated with the brand’s loyalty ecosystem.

Participation is straightforward: customers earn entries when they shop at participating 7-Eleven®, Speedway®, or Stripes® locations and scan their 7Rewards® or Speedy Rewards® app at checkout.

Beyond driving app engagement and product purchases, the program delivers tangible, real-world impact. Winners have shared stories of using their $5,000 prizes for vacations, family milestones, and even charitable contributions, underscoring the emotional resonance behind the daily giveaways. With nearly $815,000 still available to be claimed through the rest of the year, 7-Eleven continues to position the campaign as both a loyalty driver and a memorable way to turn everyday purchases into life-changing rewards.

BMO Partners with Mastercard to Launch Escape Credit Card

BMO has introduced the Escape Credit Card with Mastercard, designed specifically to help travelers get more value from their everyday spending. The card focuses on rewarding travel-related purchases such as dining, airfare, hotels, cruises, tours, rideshares, and car rentals, while eliminating foreign transaction fees to make it appealing for those traveling abroad. Positioned as more than just a rewards card, it’s intended to enhance the overall travel experience with convenience and financial flexibility.

The rewards structure is tiered to match common travel spending patterns. Cardholders can earn 4× points on U.S. dining and airfare, 3× points on hotels, cruises, and tours, 2× points on car rentals and rideshares, and 1× points on all other purchases, with quarterly caps on the higher-earning categories. Beyond rewards, BMO emphasizes flexibility in redemption, offering points that can be used toward travel, gift cards, shopping, or statement credits. Mastercard contributes added layers of security and cardholder protection, reinforcing the card’s positioning as a trusted travel partner. Popeyes Drops Revamped Wings Lineup

Popeyes gives its chicken wings a fresh start just in time for football season. All bone-in wings now feature a new mild marinated base—a savory blend of Louisiana seasonings that's fried golden-crispy. This versatile base serves as a neutral canvas for flavor layering, enabling customers to customize their wings from mild to fiery as desired.

The revamped lineup includes three returning sauces plus four bold new dry rubs, offering seven total flavor options. The familiar sauce offerings—Signature Hot, Sweet ’N Spicy, and Honey BBQ, are paired with the new base, while the dry rub innovations consist of Ghost Pepper, Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parm, and Buffalo varieties.

Popeyes is also launching a playful, football-themed promotion. In the “Better Wings, Better Mayfield” campaign, fans who are Popeyes Rewards Members can earn a free six-piece wings order (bone-in or boneless) with a $10+ digital purchase when quarterback Baker Mayfield throws, rushes, or catches a touchdown. The offer is redeemable the Monday following the touchdown from September 4, 2025 through January 4, 2026.
