KIRKLAND, Wash.—Hipcricket, the one-stop mobile marketing and advertising company, today announced that it has been selected by the American Cancer Society (ACS) as its National Mobile Agency of Record. Hipcricket’s cloud-based mobile marketing software platform will help the Society to connect with its community of participants, volunteers and donors. The initiative will include Relay for Life® event coordination and information sharing to promote cancer awareness.

The Hipcricket HIP 7.0 SaaS-based platform will enable the Society’s over 5,000 Relay for Life® groups nationwide to organize local events and share information with opted-in participants. ACS will also use the HIP platform to create a national opt-in mobile database to improve fundraising capabilities, educate its members about cancer and share tips on care and prevention.
