And for coffee drinkers all across the UK, today is a special day. On September 29, Dunkin’ Donuts is rewarding customer loyalty with free coffee with any food purchase. In honor of the brand's second annual Global Coffee Day celebration, and to say “thank you” for the dedicated patronage of people all across the region, guests will receive a free small hot or iced coffee or latte with any combined purchase.

This is the second year in a row that has seen Dunkin' Donuts celebrate Global Coffee Day. Designed as a way to not only thank worldwide fans for their customer loyalty, Global Coffee Day also celebrates the important role coffee plays in the lives of people everywhere. 

Dunkin’ Donuts currently operates over 11,400 restaurants across 39 countries. For over 65 years, Dunkin' Donuts has been a coffee leader. In fact, in just 2014 alone, the restaurant served approximately 1.8 billion cups of coffee globally.

Beyond Global Coffee Day, Dunkin’ Donuts also manages the popular DD Perks loyalty program and Dunkin’ Mobile App, which has been recognized by Brand Keys as the number one brand for customer loyalty in the coffee category for nine consecutive years,

Both customer engagement efforts have been tremendously successful for the brand. Earlier this year, DD Perks exceeded two million members and the app reached 10 million downloads.
