MONTREAL - Groupe Aeroplan Inc., the loyalty rewards giant with 4 million members, has been awarded the Association de marketing relationnel’s (AMR) prize. The award recognized the company’s distinguished performance in the field of relationship marketing.

The annual Fleche competition recognizes companies that have the best relationship marketing campaigns in Quebec.

The AMR is the Quebec branch of the Canadian Marketing Association and Aeroplan has been a member and sponsor of the AMR for several years.

Aeroplan has recently implemented a contact management strategy governing the number and nature of messages communicated to members, redesigned its communications vehicles and launched its first mass-market advertising campaign in three years to promote program benefits.
