This summer, World of Hyatt has partnered with Reese’s Book Club and luxury camping brand Under Canvas to launch Camp Unwritten, a limited-time glamping experience that merges literature with the great outdoors. Designed to evoke the nostalgia of summer camp with an upscale twist, these immersive getaways place guests in the center of a narrative-driven escape. With cozy campfire moments, curated reading lists, and breathtaking natural settings, the collaboration offers Hyatt members the chance to become the protagonists of their own summer story.

The series features exclusive events with bestselling authors and Reese’s Book Club picks in scenic Under Canvas and ULUM destinations. Highlights include fireside chats and stargazing with authors like Alexene Farol Follmuth in the Columbia River Gorge (July 14–16) and Ally Condie in the Great Smoky Mountains (July 28–30). A mystery author event is also set for August 19–21 at ULUM Moab, promising another magical, book-infused retreat. Each stay is crafted to bring books to life through intimate Q&As, thematic activities, and specially curated menus.
Even if you can’t attend the scheduled events, Hyatt encourages members to create their own “Camp Unwritten” at any Under Canvas or ULUM property. Booking in June includes perks like a free one-year Headspace subscription, enhancing the retreat with mindfulness. Additional summer incentives include earning American Airlines AAdvantage® miles or Hyatt points through car rentals with Avis.
