The clothing retailer Men's Wearhouse announced this week a $6.5 million contribution to organizations that support U.S. veterans and their families. The funds were raised over the past year through the Threads of Valor campaign, where customers were asked to donate $1, $3, or $5 at checkout. The retailer collected $5.5 million in customer donations and $1 million from its parent company, Tailored Brands.
