White Castle Enhances Customer Engagement With Summer Deals and Rewards for Slider Fans

White Castle is kicking off May and June with a lineup of promotions to give customers more value during the busy spring and summer season. Leading the campaign is a limited-time offer for a 10-pack of Original Sliders priced at $8.99 at participating locations, giving fans a budget-friendly way to enjoy the chain’s signature menu item. The company is also celebrating National Hamburger Month and National Slider Day with additional discounts, free food offers, and seasonal promotions designed to drive traffic and reward loyal customers.

White Castle Chief Marketing Officer Jamie Richardson said, “May and June are two of our favorite months of the year. We get to celebrate National Hamburger Month — and nobody has more right to do that than the brand that invented the category in 1921. We’ve packed both months with deals that give Cravers real reasons to visit. This is White Castle at its best: great food, real value, and plenty of reasons to follow your crave.”

Throughout May and June, customers can take advantage of several in-store and digital promotions, including a discounted $25 gift card available for $19.21 during May and a buy-two-get-two-free Original Slider deal tied to National Onion Day in late June. Special coupon-based offers will also be available around holidays and events, including 20% off orders for Mother’s Day weekend and a free Original Slider with no purchase required on National Slider Day using a promotional code. Members of Craver Nation Rewards, White Castle’s free loyalty program, will receive access to even more app-based and in-store savings. Rewards members can redeem the 10-Sack Slider offer through mid-June, along with deals on menu items such as Mozzarella Sticks, Chicken Fajita Sliders, and Jalapeño Cravioli. Additional promotions tied to Memorial Day, Father’s Day, and the first day of summer are also planned, reinforcing White Castle’s focus on combining value pricing, loyalty rewards, and seasonal engagement for its customers.

Toast Partners With Preferred Hotels & Resorts to Expand Hospitality Technology Solutions

Toast has joined the Alliance Partner Program of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, becoming a recommended provider of point-of-sale technology for member hotels across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. Through the partnership, Toast will supply POS software, payment systems, and hardware solutions designed to support the complex food, beverage, and retail operations commonly found within luxury hotel properties across the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Ireland.

Toast Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Operating Officer Kelly Esten said, “Seamlessness defines the luxury hospitality experience, requiring technology with both power and precision that delivers personalized, unique, and elevated guest journeys. For a brand like Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the little things matter as much in a luxury dining room as they do on a poolside patio. Toast provides the technology that enables world-class properties to manage complex, multi-concept operations across multiple countries while delivering unique, unforgettable stays for each individual guest.” 

Preferred Hotels & Resorts represents more than 625 independent luxury hotels and resorts worldwide, many of which operate multiple dining concepts and guest service experiences. Toast said its technology platform, including Toast Go 3 handheld devices with LTE connectivity, is built to help hospitality operators manage those environments more efficiently while delivering smoother guest experiences. The collaboration is intended to give hotel operators access to tools that improve service coordination across restaurants, bars, poolside dining, and retail spaces.

American Express Refreshes Gold Card With New Travel and Dining Perks

American Express is expanding the benefits available on the American Express Gold Card while keeping its annual fee unchanged at $325. The updated card now offers 5X Membership Rewards points on prepaid hotel bookings made through AmexTravel.com or the Amex Travel app, an increase from the previous 2X rate. Card Members will also receive complimentary Hertz Five Star status, which includes perks such as skipping the rental counter, potential vehicle upgrades, and an additional driver at no extra charge. American Express also refreshed its $120 Dining Credit by adding new participating partners, including Buffalo Wild Wings and Wonder.

American Express EVP of U.S. Consumer Products, Lisa Kalhans, said, “For 60 years, the Gold Card has evolved alongside how our Card Members actually live. Dining has always been at the heart of the Card, and we’re seeing an even greater desire for travel — especially among younger generations, with 74% of Millennials and Gen Z saying travel is a non-negotiable. These updates reflect how we’re continuing to build on that foundation, delivering more of what our Card Members value most and reinforcing why Gold remains one of our most well-rounded Cards.”

Along with the enhanced rewards structure, eligible Card Members will gain access to a redesigned mobile app experience that simplifies benefit tracking, enrollment, and restaurant discovery through Resy recommendations. American Express is also introducing a lineup of limited-time anniversary offers celebrating the Gold Card’s 60th year. Those promotional offers include up to $96 back on an annual Uber One membership, a 20% transfer bonus to Hilton Honors, and exclusive discounts and property credits at participating hotels within The Hotel Collection. Later this summer, American Express plans to launch The Summer Seat by Amex Gold & Resy, a dining-focused event series in Los Angeles, New York City, and Chicago that will feature acclaimed chefs and artists, along with early reservation access and onsite perks for Gold Card Members.
