Philz Coffee Launches New Rewards Program
Philz Coffee is launching a new loyalty program called Philz Rewards, available beginning October 15, 2025, via its app in California and Chicago. The program aims to deepen the brand’s connection with its customers by rewarding everyday purchases and acknowledging the relationship beyond mere transactions. The company says the program reflects the culture of personalization and community that defines Philz.
Under Philz Rewards, members earn 10 points per $1 spent, get a 150-point bonus simply for signing up, and can redeem 1,200 points for a free drink of their choice. The program also includes perks like drink upgrades, a birthday reward, surprise offers (e.g. double points or free pastry), and features that foster connection—such as sending “positive vibe” emojis to the barista who crafts your drink.
The new program is integrated into the existing Philz app, where users can join easily and have points automatically applied for app orders. In-store purchases can accrue points via a “Store Check-In Code.” Eligible purchases include drinks, food, whole beans, and merchandise; orders via third-party delivery, subscriptions, gift-card purchases, or philzcoffee.com are excluded.

Pizza Hut Reignites “Wing Wednesday”
Pizza Hut is refreshing its “Wing Wednesday” promotion by launching a new deal: 20 Lil’ Wings for $10. The company positions this as a mid-week “boost” for customers, offering snackable, crispy wings tossed in a chosen sauce or rub. The promo runs through November 5 at participating locations.
To further amplify the campaign, Pizza Hut is introducing a new “Wingfluencer” persona, Brian Flatsworth, who will post humorous and playful corporate-style advice and content on LinkedIn and other channels. The idea is to lean into the midweek slump many people feel and make Wednesdays something to look forward to via content and wings.
In announcing the initiative, Pizza Hut’s CMO emphasized the goal of giving fans a reason to get excited about the middle of the week. The company also reminds readers of its broader brand footprint, nearly 20,000 restaurants worldwide, digital ordering momentum, and commitments in equity, carbon reduction, and packaging improvements.

Fanatics, NBA, and NBPA Team Up to Launch Exclusive Topps Trading Card Partnership
Fanatics Collectibles, the NBA, and the NBPA have entered into a multiyear partnership in which Topps returns as the exclusive licensed trading card brand for NBA and NBPA products. The collaboration begins with the launch of the 2025-26 Topps Basketball line on October 23, which will feature all 30 NBA teams plus select legends. The new collectibles will include special editions such as 1/1 Topps Rookie Debut Patch Autograph cards and Gold NBA Logoman Patch cards, elevating how fans collect and interact with physical memorabilia.
Under the deal, unique elements are built directly into game jerseys during the season. For instance, the Rookie Debut Patch is affixed to a player’s jersey in their debut game, later removed and authenticated to become part of a trading card. Meanwhile, for the 2025-26 season the jerseys of award winners will carry Gold NBA Logoman Patches, which will then be incorporated into limited-edition card releases.
In addition to the physical trading card products, this partnership emphasizes fan engagement and immersive experiences. Topps and the NBA will host fan events globally (e.g. in New York, Los Angeles, Paris, London) to celebrate the card rollout. Also, the digital side is addressed via NBA Collect by Topps, an official app launching on November 5, which brings the trading card collections to life with interactive features tied to real game action.
