Kroger Revamps E-Commerce Strategy to Boost Experience and Profitability
Kroger recently revamped its e-commerce strategy aiming to simplify the customer experience while driving stronger, more profitable online growth. As part of the shift, the company expects to generate approximately $400 million in improved e-commerce operating profit by 2026. To enable this transformation, Kroger will also take $2.6 billion in impairment and related charges, primarily tied to the closure of select automated fulfillment centers.
