Grubhub Enhances the Customer Experience With Multi-Store Ordering and Expanded Everyday Offerings

Grubhub has consistently adapted to how people shop, dine, and live, and its recent upgrades further this evolution. Last year, Grubhub enhanced its app to offer a more personalized and intuitive experience while expanding its catalog to include more grocery and convenience brands. Now, the platform is moving beyond food delivery by introducing everyday essentials like alcohol from 7-Eleven and independent liquor stores, and fresh flowers through a new national partnership with FTD. Another key initiative is Multi-Store Ordering, a feature that allows customers to combine items from two different stores in one streamlined order. This means users can now pair meals with drinks, snacks, or even floral arrangements without switching apps or incurring multiple delivery fees. The result is a more unified shopping experience that matches modern consumer habits.

Grubhub Director of Project Management Emma Cai said, “Today’s customers aren’t just ordering dinner—they’re looking for smarter, more convenient ways to check multiple things off their list in a single tap. With Multi-Store Ordering, we’re creating a more unified shopping and delivery experience that reflects how people actually live—combining everything from sushi to snacks to birthday bouquets in one order.”

Alongside Multi-Store Ordering, Grubhub is growing its non-restaurant offerings, especially alcohol delivery, which has seen a 20% year-over-year increase. With thousands of participating liquor merchants and built-in ID verification for safety, the platform ensures a secure, compliant experience. The FTD flower partnership also marks a new chapter, giving customers access to thousands of local florists for quick, thoughtful deliveries. These updates reinforce Grubhub’s commitment to convenience, positioning the platform as a one-stop destination for meals, essentials, and gifts.

Burger King Employee Honored for Inspiring Dedication

Burger King employee Mykale Baker, who works at the Dacula, Georgia location operated by GPS Hospitality, received $10,000 for his college education from the Burger King Foundation. The award came in recognition of Baker’s exceptional dedication and work ethic, which garnered national attention after a video showed him jumping in to help his co-workers at Burger King, still wearing his graduation attire and medals, just moments after his high school ceremony.

GPS Hospitality Director of Marketing Reid Neumann said, “We wanted to recognize you for everything that you have done, always jumping in to help out your team. On behalf of Burger King and the Burger King Foundation, we award Mykale Baker a $10,000 scholarship.”

The touching moment was captured by Maria Mendoza, who was so inspired by Baker’s actions that she launched a GoFundMe campaign to support his college dreams. Initially hoping to raise $6,000, Mendoza’s fundraiser far exceeded expectations, eventually generating over $184,000 in donations from people across the country. In addition to Baker’s individual recognition, the Burger King Foundation continues to invest in young scholars. This year, 116 students received scholarships from communities where GPS Hospitality operates. Since 2013, GPS has awarded nearly $2.2 million to more than 2,000 students.

White Castle Partners With Marvel’s “Ironheart” for Summer Promotion

White Castle has unveiled a bold new collaboration with Marvel Television’s “Ironheart,” set to premiere on Disney+ on June 24. Rooted in a shared Chicago heritage, Ironheart’s hometown and a White Castle stronghold since 1930, the partnership is both a tribute to innovation and an invitation for fans to make a difference. The centerpiece of the campaign is a new beverage, the “Mechanized Mix,” inspired by the spirit of Ironheart and available exclusively through Coca-Cola Freestyle machines for a limited time.

White Castle Vice President Jamie Richardson said, “This collaboration with Marvel Television’s ‘Ironheart’ is a perfect match for White Castle. Just as Riri Williams follows her Crave while taking on the world as Ironheart, our Cravers are everyday heroes who bring passion and joy to everything they do. We’re excited to offer them a taste of ‘Ironheart’ with the new ‘Mechanized Mix’ and even more reasons to celebrate through Craver Nation Rewards.”

White Castle is rolling out limited-edition packaging for the promotion that brings the Marvel universe to life. Original Sliders will be served in collectible boxes designed to resemble those seen in the Ironheart series, letting fans enjoy their meals with a dash of superhero flair. Craver Nation Rewards members are treated to additional perks, including a $2 discount on their next mobile order when they purchase the “Mechanized Mix,” along with a digital badge commemorating their participation. The promotion runs through July 31 at participating locations nationwide. Beyond marketing, a portion of proceeds from every “Mechanized Mix” or Coca-Cola Freestyle drink sold will benefit Girls Who Code, a nonprofit working to close the gender gap in tech. With 670,000 students empowered so far, the organization is creating real-world heroes who plan to enter the tech and computer science fields.
