Kohl’s Invests $1 Million to Expand Wellness Opportunities at Boys & Girls Clubs Nationwide 

Kohl’s is strengthening its commitment to youth health and wellness with a $1 million investment in Boys & Girls Clubs of America, funding facility enhancements at nine Club locations across the country. The grants will support projects designed to promote physical activity, mental well-being, and personal development, helping create environments where young people can build healthy habits and access valuable resources. From athletic fields and fitness centers to calming wellness spaces, the improvements are aimed at serving youth and families for years to come. 

The funded projects will address a variety of community needs, including new recreational facilities, upgraded sports equipment, teen wellness rooms, and dedicated spaces that support emotional health. Clubs in Arizona, Georgia, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Texas, West Virginia, and Wisconsin will receive funding for initiatives such as turf athletic fields, playground improvements, expanded fitness centers, sensory-friendly wellness areas, and teen-focused gathering spaces. Since 2017, Kohl’s Cares has contributed nearly $20 million to support youth wellness programs, trauma-informed care training, leadership development initiatives, and other resources that help young people thrive.

Waymo Launches Premier Membership Program for Its Most Frequent Riders 

Waymo is introducing a new membership offering designed to reward its most loyal riders with enhanced convenience and added value, as TechCrunch reports. Called Waymo Premier, the invite-only subscription program is tailored for customers who regularly rely on the company’s autonomous ride-hailing service. Available initially to select riders in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Phoenix, the program aims to deliver a more seamless travel experience through a collection of exclusive benefits. 

For a monthly fee of $29.99, Premier members will receive perks including priority ride matching, helping reduce wait times during busy periods, as well as 10% Waymo Cash back on every trip. Members will also gain early access to new markets as Waymo expands its autonomous service footprint, along with added flexibility through complimentary ride cancellations each month. The benefits are designed to enhance both everyday commuting and occasional travel while providing greater reliability across participating cities. 

The launch reflects Waymo’s continued focus on evolving its rider experience as demand for autonomous transportation grows. By introducing a premium membership tier, the company is creating new ways for frequent users to maximize the value of the service while strengthening customer loyalty.
