Chase introduced an updated version of its premium Chase Sapphire Reserve card alongside a new business version tailored to entrepreneurs and business owners. Both cards deliver robust value – with the personal Sapphire Reserve card offering over $2,700 in annual cardmember benefits, and the business variant delivering over $2,500 – including travel, lifestyle, and business-specific perks.
The refreshed personal Sapphire Reserve card features increased travel rewards: 8x points on Chase Travel bookings (up from 5x or 10x previously), and 4x points on flights and hotels booked directly with providers. It also offers a streamlined suite of high-value credits including a $500 annual hotel credit through Chase Travel’s curated The Edit program, complimentary IHG Platinum Elite status, restaurant and lounge access experiences, and more.
Meanwhile, Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business delivers similar travel rewards – 8x on Chase Travel, 4x on direct flights and hotels – plus several business-focused statement credits. These include $120 every four years toward Global Entry/TSA PreCheck, a generous $300 travel credit per year, $500 annual The Edit credit, and more.
Both cards now carry an annual fee of $795 (with an authorized user fee of $195 for the personal, but employee cards are free on the business version), with no foreign transaction fees. New card members of the personal version can earn up to 100,000 bonus points plus a $500 Chase Travel credit after spending $5,000 in the first three months, while business applicants can earn 200,000 points after $30,000 in six months. Existing cardholders who applied on or before launch will enjoy new benefits beginning October 26, and will see the annual fee adjust to $794 upon their next card anniversary.
