Aeroplan and Club Avolta are expanding how travelers earn loyalty rewards throughout the airport journey with a new North American partnership. Aeroplan members who link their Aeroplan and Club Avolta accounts can now earn points on eligible purchases at more than 900 participating airport and travel retail locations operated by Hudson and Dufry. Members earn one Aeroplan point for every C$2 spent on eligible in-store purchases, as well as orders placed through Avolta’s Reserve & Collect service and Club Avolta app.
Later this year, the partnership will expand to HMSHost dining locations, allowing members to earn points on eligible purchases at casual dining restaurants, quick-service outlets, bars, and Grab & Go locations. Once fully rolled out, the partnership will include nearly 1,900 participating retail and food and beverage outlets across North America, including locations at major airports in Canada and the U.S. Members who link their accounts can also access additional offers, rewards, and cross-promotions across Air Canada’s global network and Avolta’s participating retail locations.
Why it matters:
- The partnership extends Aeroplan earning opportunities beyond flights and traditional travel purchases into everyday moments throughout the airport experience.
- Linking two loyalty ecosystems gives members more opportunities to earn rewards while helping both programs increase engagement across the travel journey.
- The expansion into retail and dining shows how travel loyalty programs are building broader partnerships to create more connected and rewarding experiences for members.
