Athletic retailer The Finish Line will offer its customers exclusive content this year in the form of an exclusive video series, in collaboration with Reebok, which celebrates NBA great Allen Iverson as well as honors his 20-year anniversary with Reebok.
Finish Line’s video series is titled, “20 Years. 20 Questions. With Allen Iverson” and features 11 exclusive interviews. The series gives customers an in-depth look into Iverson’s thoughts on his life and career, six years after leaving the sport he loves.
Last month Iverson was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame and his enshrinement is scheduled for September.
“Allen Iverson’s persona and talent resonates with our customers and we have captured his swagger in this video series,” said Paul Diehl, director of digital brand at Finish Line. “Thanks to visionaries like Iverson, the culture of the NBA is now celebrated through personal style and attitude. Finish Line’s latest video discusses Iverson’s views on the hype surrounding this infamous press conference, which focused more on his practice schedule and habits than his dedication to the team. The video aligns with the retailer’s next sneaker release, the Reebok Question Mid Practice, which debuted May 13, and highlights elements of the outfit Iverson wore during the interview.
