The most valuable loyalty programs are flexible and versatile. They allow customers to demonstrate brand loyalty by participating in a wide range of daily activities, and by completing a number of different transactions. And this seems to be the secret behind the popularity of Cashback Plus, the official loyalty program of the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and NatWest, which offers members 1% back on everything they spend across a diverse group of participating retailers.
So far, Cashback Plus gives members 1% on purchases made at gas stations, supermarkets, jewelers, body shops, cafes, home furnishing outlets, and more. The program is also continuing to expand, and now RBS and NatWest have just announced a new partner to the growing list.
Europcar will be the newest addition to the RBS Group Cashback Plus loyalty program.
A leading car-for-hire service, Europcar will now also let Cashback Plus members earn 1% back on everything they spend with the brand. This includes hiring a high quality car or van from over 250 UK branches. Europcar also offers delivery, collection, and a range of chauffeur services, which will also earn members cash back benefits.

A relatively new player in the loyalty program space, Cashback Plus was started in 2013. Since then it has been dedicated to demonstrating RBS and NatWest’s appreciation to loyal customers. In addition to transferring 1% back into accounts, Cashback Plus also allows members to exchange rewards for gift cards or various tickets.
Members can also donate their rewards to a number of charities including Barnardo’s, Cancer Research UK, Macmillan Cancer Support, and the NSPCC.
