McDonald’s Partners with DoorDash to Launch Online Ordering Channel

McDonald's has introduced a new online ordering platform in collaboration with DoorDash, enhancing its McDelivery service. Accessible via McDonalds.com, the platform allows customers to place orders through mobile web or desktop without the need for app downloads or account logins. Orders are fulfilled by DoorDash couriers, ensuring a reliable and familiar delivery experience. This initiative aims to provide customers with a seamless and convenient way to enjoy their favorite McDonald's menu items delivered directly to their doorsteps.

“With millions of customers visiting McDonald’s.com each month, this channel extends our reach, offering a seamless and convenient way to have their McDonald’s favorites delivered,” said Tim Snyder, McDonald’s Head of Delivery.

The brand first piloted delivery via DoorDash in 2019 and extended their partnership two years later. The partnership between DoorDash and McDonald’s now supports McDelivery in 29 countries.

Cool Sips Partners with poppi

In New York City, Cool Sips, noted as the city’s first standalone concept focused entirely on the “dirty soda” trend, has introduced a collaboration with poppi, the prebiotic soda brand. This partnership rolls out three limited-edition beverages blending the indulgence of customizable dirty sodas with Poppi’s gut-healthy, functional approach.

Cool Sips embraces the fast-growing “dirty soda” movement, a creative category featuring carbonated beverages combined with syrups, creams, and other flavorful components. The brand, which already offers signature concoctions and fully customizable drinks across its Manhattan locations, now infuses Poppi’s probiotic-friendly ethos, marking a fusion of indulgence and wellness.

This collaboration signals a broader trend toward better-for-you, yet visually playful beverages, marrying the indulgent customization of dirty sodas with health-conscious ingredients. The launch positions Cool Sips at the intersection of two strong currents in consumer preferences: experience-driven, visually engaging beverages and functional, gut-healthy options.

Virtual Dining Concepts Introduces Great American Cookies

Virtual Dining Concepts (VDC) has launched a new delivery-only concept featuring Great American Cookies, marking a strategic partnership that combines the cookie brand’s national recognition with VDC’s virtual restaurant expertise. Through this collaboration, customers can now order fresh-baked cookies exclusively through delivery platforms, expanding Great American Cookies’ reach without the need for additional storefronts.

The rollout is being supported by Chuck E. Cheese locations, where the cookies will be prepared and delivered under the Great American Cookies brand. This arrangement allows both VDC and Great American Cookies to tap into existing kitchen infrastructure, enabling quick market expansion and operational efficiency while adding a new revenue stream for participating kitchens.

This launch reflects the growing popularity of virtual and ghost kitchen models, which are reshaping how brands engage with consumers in the age of convenience and on-demand dining. By leveraging established brands within delivery-only formats, operators can meet the rising demand for at-home indulgence while minimizing overhead and capital investment.
