Fruit Donuts That Are “Edible,” What is Happening?
Beginning in June, Edible, the fresh fruit arrangement company, will start selling its Granny Smith apple donuts. The “donuts” are made by flattening the apples to a crisp and dipping them into chocolate. The toppings include traditional donut favorites like colorful chocolate "glaze," sweet sprinkles, caramelized hazelnut crunch, and coconut shavings with almonds. To sweeten the pot, Edible is launching the fruity donut in tandem with National Donut Day on June 1st by offering guests a free donut. Additionally, Edible is hosting a BOGO offer from June 2-6, where guests buying a single, half dozen, or full dozen Edible Donuts will receive another one of equal or lesser value for free.
Where Do You Want Your Domino’s Hotspot?
After releasing 150,000 Domino's Hotspots in April, giving customers the option to receive deliveries at locations without traditional addresses, Domino’s is giving customers the chance to submit their own recommendations for Domino's Hotspot delivery locations across the U.S. Sandy beaches, little league baseball fields, parking lots… there’s no telling where the next Domino’s Hotspot might be. Customers live non-traditional lives these days, always on the go, eating when (and where) they can. Domino’s new Hotspots allow customers to take a few minutes for themselves no matter where they are. Suggestions can be made here.
7th Consecutive Year of Improvements in Satisfaction for Airlines
According to JD Power, Airline investments in newer planes, improved customer satisfaction with overhead storage compartments and cheaper fares have driven a seventh straight year of improved customer satisfaction. Southwest was highest in low-cost carriers for the second year in a row and Alaskan Airlines was the highest in traditional carriers for the eleventh straight year. On a 1,000 point scale, customer satisfaction was an all-time high at 762. Passenger satisfaction with airline carriers in North America is based on performance in seven factors: cost and fees; in-flight services; aircraft; boarding/deplaning/baggage; flight crew; check-in; and reservation. With cheap fares and great service all around, the travel industry continues to boom. Unfortunately, there’s still no cure for crying babies on a thirteen hour flight to Europe.
