Booking.com Launches No-Fee Genius Rewards Visa With Premium Travel Perks

Booking.com has introduced the Genius Rewards Visa Signature Credit Card, a new no-annual-fee offering designed to simplify and enhance the travel rewards experience. The company says the card addresses a common consumer frustration, noting that only 28% of Americans feel confident they’re maximizing their credit card benefits. With this launch, Booking.com hopes to remove complexity by making every dollar earned in Travel Credits worth one dollar when redeemed on its platform. Cardholders can apply rewards toward accommodations, attractions, rental cars, and flights, all within the Booking.com ecosystem.

Managing Director of U.S. at Booking.com, Ben Harrell, said, “In a world where 81 percent of cardholders expect brands to enhance their travel experiences, we saw an opportunity to raise the bar. Today’s travelers want flexibility and transparency in how they earn and redeem rewards, and they want it all in one place. This card is about making it easier to access and utilize incredible travel benefits, without having to pay hundreds of dollars a year to do so, like other cards, and reflects our broader commitment to removing friction from travel and unlocking more possibilities for American cardholders to be rewarded for their loyalty.”

Cardholders earn 6% in Travel Credits on stays booked through the Booking.com app, 5% on other travel booked through the platform, and 3% on purchases made at destinations during a stay, as well as on dining, gas, and groceries. All other purchases earn 2%. New members can receive $150 in Travel Credits after spending $1,500 within the first 90 days and an additional $100 in bonus credits each year after spending $15,000. The card also grants automatic Genius Level 3 status, unlocking perks such as 10–20% discounts on select stays, rental car savings, complimentary breakfast and room upgrades at participating properties, priority customer support, and flight price alerts. Travel and purchase protections—including rental coverage, trip cancellation, travel accident insurance, and extended warranty benefits—round out the offering.

T-Mobile Launches Network-Integrated AI with Real-Time Call Translation

T-Mobile has introduced what it calls the world’s first real-time, agentic AI platform built directly within a wireless network. Rather than relying on apps, downloads, device upgrades, or subscriptions, the company has embedded AI capabilities into its 5G Advanced network infrastructure. This network-native approach allows customers to access new services automatically, simply by being on the T-Mobile network. The first offering powered by this platform is Live Translation, enabling real-time phone call translation in more than 50 languages.

T-Mobile CEO Srini Gopalan said, “Some of the biggest barriers wireless customers face are the simplest ones—like being able to understand each other. When language gets in the way, the network gets reduced to just a signal—and that’s not who we are. By bringing real-time AI directly into our network, we’re delivering more than connectivity—turning conversations into community, starting with Live Translation.”

Live Translation operates directly within the carrier’s network. That means it works on virtually any phone—from flip phones to the latest smartphones—as long as at least one participant in the call is on T-Mobile’s network. Once activated, translation occurs almost instantly. The service is designed to help multilingual families, international travelers, and businesses communicate more easily, addressing language barriers that affect millions of Americans and billions of international calls each year. Beta registration for Live Translation is now open to eligible T-Mobile customers, with access expected to roll out this spring. Participants will be able to activate the feature by dialing 87 and use it at no cost during the beta period. The company plans to use this testing phase to refine the experience ahead of a broader commercial launch later this year.

China Airlines Partners With Plusgrade for Dynasty Flyer Loyalty Program

China Airlines has enhanced its Dynasty Flyer loyalty program with the introduction of Buy, Gift, and Reinstate Miles, giving members greater flexibility in how they manage and use their rewards. The new features are powered by Plusgrade’s Points loyalty platform and mark the first time Dynasty Flyer members can purchase additional miles, transfer miles to others, or reactivate expired balances.

Plusgrade Founder and CEO Ken Harris said, “This launch with China Airlines marks a big moment for our continued expansion in the Asia-Pacific region. Members in this region are some of the most engaged in the world when it comes to loyalty, and this partnership delivers exactly what they want—more flexibility, more utility, and more ways to get value from their rewards.”

With these new capabilities, members can now purchase miles to reach redemption goals more quickly, gift miles to friends and family, or reinstate expired miles to avoid losing earned rewards. The expanded options give travelers greater control over their accounts and make it easier to maximize the benefits of participation. As demand grows for more personalized and flexible loyalty solutions, the enhancements position Dynasty Flyer as more competitive among global frequent flyer programs. The rollout also marks an important milestone for Plusgrade as it strengthens its footprint in the Asia-Pacific region.
