Great Clips, the Official Hair Salon of the NHL and NHLPA, has launched the ‘Check-In to Win Sweepstakes’ as part of its 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs campaign. Running through May 19th, the sweepstakes offers fans a chance to win a trip and tickets to a 2025 Stanley Cup Final game by checking in through the Great Clips app. The grand prize includes game tickets, airfare, and hotel accommodations for the winner and a guest. Additionally, ten other participants will receive $100 Great Clips gift cards and $100 NHL Shop gift cards.
To promote the sweepstakes, Great Clips has enlisted NHL stars Cale Makar of the Colorado Avalanche and Matthew Tkachuk of the Florida Panthers. These athletes are features in television commercials and social media content, drawing a playful parallel between ‘checking’ in hockey and checking via the Great Clips app. Their involvement aims to engage fans and encourage participating in the promotion.
The campaign also leverages the influence of popular hockey content creators, including Nasher and Canadian creator Aidan Dale. These influencers received haircuts at local Great Clips salons and produced unique content to highlight the sweepstakes and its prizes.
Throughout the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs, Great Clips is enhancing its visibility with national TV commercials, Digitally Enhanced Dashboards, digital advertisements, and in-salon promotions across the U.S. and Canada.
Fans interested in participating can download the Great Clips app and check in to enter the sweepstakes. This initiative not only provides a chance to attend the Stanley Cup Final game but also emphasizes thew convenience and benefits of using the Great Clips app for salon services.
