Fiji Airways recently joined American Airlines’ travel rewards program, AAdvantage®. The partnership will allow Fiji Airways travelers to enjoy more benefits and earn and redeem points with both airlines. Elite members will receive priority check-in and boarding, complimentary baggage, preferred seating, and enhanced award redemption options.

“This loyalty partnership marks a significant milestone, bringing together two renowned carriers to offer new benefits to millions of travelers,” said Andre Viljoen, Fiji Airways Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. “We are excited about the positive impact this collaboration will have on both our airlines and our guests, who will benefit from the exclusive perks.”

American Airlines Vice President of Partnerships, Anmol Bhargava, added, “We are taking our partnership with Fiji Airways one step further by offering our mutual customers the opportunity to unlock more destinations and travel experiences through the AAdvantage® program.”

AAdvantage® was established in 1981 to reward frequent flyers. The partnership follows another milestone for Fiji Airways—preparing to become the 15th full member of the Oneworld Alliance in 2025. The Alliance aims to boost tourism and forge stronger bonds with travelers.
