Fanatics Collectibles recently announced plans to open its inaugural global flagship store in the spring of 2025, located on the iconic Regent Street in London. The new store will cater to fans of sports and entertainment trading cards, featuring a wide range of collectible products and exclusive items from top brands like Topps, Bowman, Merlin, and Match Attax. Additionally, the store will host events with athletes and sports clubs, offering customers a unique experience.
The store will span 803 square meters (8,647 square feet) and include several standout features, such as a central display showcasing the rarest and most coveted cards, along with a large suspended circular screen. It will also have a studio for live and taped card openings and an innovative customer education experience. The store will serve as a community hub, hosting monthly trade nights, athlete appearances and signings, kids’ events, partner activations, and a card grading dropoff.
David Leiner, Topps’ President of Trading Cards, spoke enthusiastically about the new opening, stating, “We are incredibly excited to cut the ribbon on this amazing community-building retail space, one that we hope will delight collectors and be a true home for the hobby in Europe. It’ll be a destination for millions of fans as well as our own internal partners – and team and club partners, the latter using our dedicated space to launch and showcase new products in a way that has never been done before.”
The flagship location will also serve as a drop-off point for users of Fanatics Collect, a trading card marketplace. Currently, there are fewer than five Topps-partner hobby shops in the UK and under 30 across Europe, making this flagship store a much-needed addition to the European collectibles scene.
In addition to trading cards, the store will sell branded apparel from Topps and Fanatics-owned Mitchell & Ness, as well as memorabilia like signed kits, jerseys, and sports equipment. Collectors can expect an expansive range of products across sports such as soccer, baseball, UFC, WWE, basketball, football, F1, and more, alongside entertainment-themed cards from Marvel, Disney, Star Wars, and others.
