The SoundBite Engage(TM) platform revolutionizes customer communications, enabling intelligent, proactive multi-channel customer interactions. The patents describe and claim various features and capabilities of its platform technologies. One of these is the SoundBite Campaign Manager User Interface, which enables clients to define more specific campaign strategies, including the ability to implement pass escalation for alternative customer contact channels based on attempt results, contact attributes and response group data. This interface enables users to make and implement dynamic changes to campaign strategies. The other two patents involve SoundBite's innovative agent "stay-on-line" function, which reduces the latency of customer-to-agent connections and enables agents who interface with the SoundBite platform to handle multiple customers more efficiently and reliably as they move through their workflows.
