Burger King Loyalty ProgramLocal and regional loyalty programs are not a novel concept to New Zealand consumers. However, the county has not yet seen the introduction of a mobile loyalty program and couponing app from a global brand.

That is until now.

And thanks to Burger King New Zealand and Tillster, an innovative digital ordering and customer engagement restaurant services platform, New Zealand is poised to welcome a new partnership that marks a first for the island country.

Designed in conjunction with Antares Restaurant Group Limited, Burger King’s local master franchise, the loyalty program and mobile app will provide hyper-local promotions, personalized rewards-based deals, and numerous opportunities to save money.

“This first step into personalizing transaction level data, allowing us to connect 1 to 1 with our growing customer base, is the first step in becoming the most connected QSR brand in the market,” said James Woodbridge, GM Marketing for the Antares Restaurant Group, Ltd. “Further innovative digital experiences will bring both functional customer benefits as well as the ability to connect the brand in a more emotive way to existing and new customers. And, by rewarding frequent customers with relevant and customized incentives to come back, we can better understand guest behaviors for future programs.”

To ensure a consistent customer experience, the new mobile app will be available on iOS and Android operating systems and accessible across multiple online, mobile and digital devices.

This on the go access allows customers to earn Burger King “crowns,” which can then be redeemed immediately for various discounts or accumulated for higher value items.

Burger King will implement Tillster’s proprietary customer engagement tool to send “smart” and personalized messages to every member. In addition to customized food choices and names, this tool will also increase the power of personalization by analyzing and leveraging the times that guests are most likely to engage with the app to increase usage and overall satisfaction.Burger King Loyalty Program
