Air Canada Reaches New Heights of Customer Loyalty

Air Canada Customer Loyalty In a time when consumers routinely expect to receive a first-class customer experience, Air Canada continues to delight.

Because of a genuine commitment to provide quality products, superior services, and a pleasant customer experience, Air Canada has been recognized as the leading airline in customer loyalty by the Brand Keys 2015 Customer Loyalty Index®.

“In a marketplace where consumers are looking to be delighted, according to this year’s Customer Loyalty Engagement Index, Air Canada has been better able to deliver against the very high expectations flyers hold for the Airline category,” Robert Passikoff, President of Brand Keys consultancy, said in a release.

The ability to earn and retain customer loyalty was also based on the airline’s willingness to acknowledge employees’ hard work, overall professionalism, and high degree of customer engagement.

“Air Canada’s ability to better address customers’ emotional values has resulted in increased levels of customer engagement and loyalty,” Passikoff Air Canada Customer Loyalty explained. “Brands able to do that generally see the highest levels of loyalty and positive behavior over the next 12 to 18 months. It is a tribute to Air Canada that they have accomplished this in such a highly challenging category – better than the competitors.”

To gather data for this study, Brand Keys queried over 36,000 consumers across 64 categories to measure their expectation level and degree of brand loyalty. And in this case, Air Canada, which serves over 38 million customers across five continents, was the clear winner.

“Recognition of Air Canada as the No. 1 airline for customer loyalty in North America is a tremendous honor,” Craig Landry, Air Canada’s Vice President, Marketing said.

As a further testament to its exceptional customer service, this is not the first time Air Canada has been recognized for its excellence.

As North America’s only international airline to receive a Four-Star ranking from Skytrax, Air Canada was also recently named Best Airline in North America” by Global Traveler, “Best North American Airline for International Travel” by Business Traveler, and “Best North America Airline Inflight Experience” by Premier Traveler.
