Target Corporation has unveiled a comprehensive strategy to boost sales by over $15 billion by 2030, focusing on enhancing customer experiences, expanding product offerings, and optimizing operations.
In 2025, Target will begin to build momentum in product categories with growth potential. Some categories, such as gaming, sports, and toys will include expanded assortments and enhanced in-store experience that will strengthen Target’s position as a gaming destination and expand its youth sports offerings. Target also plans to add more trend-forward newness to its home assortment brands.
To spur further growth, Target will also launch a new series of Good & Gather collabs with various chefs. Additionally, the store will have 600 new food and beverage items across Good & Gather and Favorite Day.
Target continues to flourish in the beauty category with more than 45 new brands and 2,000 items introduced in February. The store plans to continue this momentum with more new products and brands coming in the year ahead.
The retailer also plans to invest across its stores and supply chain network to reach more customers and get products to them faster than ever. Target plans to open around 20 new, large format stores, and invest to remodel many more locations across the country in 2025.
