Pure Barre®, a leader in barre-based fitness, has launched its annual Pure ACED Challenge for the month of July throughout participating locations. This popular summer initiative encourages participants to strengthen their bodies and boost their confidence while pursuing personal fitness goals. With 40,000 participants joining last year, the challenge offers a fun and motivating structure for both new and returning members to stay active during the summer.

Pure Barre Vice President of Training & Technique Michelle Ditto said, “Although summer can be a busy season, it is a great time to refocus on wellness. The Pure ACED Challenge is the perfect way to help members, both new and returning, stay motivated, build consistency, and make meaningful progress toward their fitness goals, in addition to the full summer calendar. Pure Barre’s four signature class formats are each designed to support specific fitness goals, offering a comprehensive and balanced workout routine. The challenge invites members to engage with every format, promoting strength, endurance, and flexibility to help them feel their best throughout the season.”

To complete the Pure ACED Challenge, members must take part in and complete at least 10 classes throughout the 31 days of July, and experience all four of Pure Barre’s signature workouts: Pure Barre Classic™, Align™, Empower™, and Define™. Participants can sign up at their local studio and track their class progress using the Pure Barre app.

Saucy’s Secret Sauce Creates a Vibe As It Surpasses Expectations

KFC’s spinoff concept “Saucy,” helmed by Chief New Concept Officer Christophe Poirier, is flipping the script on fast food by rejecting the traditional mirror approach, where brands reflect customers, and embracing a magnetic strategy that draws people in through bold attitude and personality.

Poirier said, “A lot of customers right now are chasing culture, and they are not necessarily focusing on, ‘I want to have a boneless chicken product.’ No, nobody wants that. They just want—Not even an experience—a vibe. And it’s funny because a lot of brands are focusing on the experience. I think experience is a little bit basic. I have five Gen Zs at home. I am the happy father of a blended family. None of my kids said, ‘Hey Dad, today I’m really looking forward to the great experience.’ No, they are looking for the vibe. This is what they are expecting, what they are looking forward to with brands. It’s something that reflects their personalities and not just fits their appetite. They love individuality, strong flavors, and shareable experience. So I would say the success is all about the vibe, and it’s all about the magnetic attraction of the brand.”

From its Orlando pilot location, built in a converted KFC with eye-catching pink branding and large windows, Saucy offers a unique twist on the fried chicken formula. Instead of focusing solely on chicken tenders, the brand has made sauces the main event. With 11 custom sauce options in flavors ranging from Chimichurri and Peri Peri Ranch to Thai Sweet ‘N Spicy to Creole Honey Mustard, the menu encourages customers to explore and mix flavors, giving them ownership over their dining experience. The brand’s disruptive philosophy also led to new menu items like the Saucy Chick’Ito BBQ, a creatively named, flavor-packed wrap priced at just $3.95 and featuring cabbage slaw, jalapeño pesto ranch, sweet and saucy BBQ, and a pickle. Backed by strong early performance, sales doubling KFC U.S. averages, Yum! Brands is cautiously optimistic about expansion. With at least 20 more locations planned, the company is focused on growing methodically while preserving Saucy’s distinct identity.
