Frontier Airlines has announced a significant enhancement to its loyalty program: FRONTIER Miles Elite Platinum and Diamond Status members can receive a free, unlimited companion travel benefit. This allows eligible members to bring a companion on any Frontier flight without paying for the companion’s base fare – only government taxes and fees, starting at $5.60, apply.
Unlike similar programs, Frontier’s offering provides flexibility by allowing members to designate a different companion for each flight, provided the companion is added at the time of booking and has a FRONTIER Miles account.
To celebrate the launch, Frontier is also offering free Platinum Status through August 31 to 100 entrants, providing the randomly selected winners with unlimited companion travel through the summer in addition to other perks these status members typically enjoy. Elite Platinum and Diamond Status members can take advantage of the companion travel benefit by logging into their FRONTIER Miles account on FlyFrontier.com or by using the mobile app. Companions must have their own FRONTIER Miles account and will need to have their account number attached to the reservation during the booking process.
