Cinemark Holdings is reinforcing its position as a leader in theatrical entertainment by investing heavily in innovation, comfort, and overall guest satisfaction across its 500 global theaters. With 95% of surveyed guests reporting a positive experience, the company continues to elevate the moviegoing journey through strategic upgrades and thoughtful amenities that cater to today’s consumer expectations.

“Our mission at Cinemark is to create unforgettable, larger-than-life, immersive experiences that cannot be found at home or anywhere else, and we deliver on that promise every day through ongoing enhancements and meticulous maintenance across all aspects of our movie theaters,” said Sean Gamble, Cinemark CEO and President.

A key area of focus is enhanced sight and sound. Its Cinemark XD auditoriums, available in nearly 300 locations, offer wall-to-wall screens, vibrant color, and 50,000-watt surround sound, setting a high bar for immersive visuals. The brand also continues to expand into premium formats, including ScreenX panoramic views and select IMAX locations, one of which is among the few in the U.S. equipped for IMAX 70mm film projection.

Comfort and immersion are also major priorities. Over 70% of Cinemark’s U.S. locations now feature reclining Lounger seats with plush cushioning, footrests, and motorized headrests. The brand leads the industry in D-BOX motion seating, over 450 theatres syncing the movement with on-screen action, and that footprint is set to grow even larger with 80 additional installations planned.

Cinemark has also enhanced its food and beverage offerings, making premium in-theater dining more accessible. About 80% of U.S. locations serve restaurant-style food, and 60% offer alcohol and specialty beverages. Guests can order ahead via the Cinemark app or enjoy seat-side delivery in select theaters. Merchandise tied to movie releases is available both on-site and online, while delivery partnerships with UberEats, DoorDash, Grubhub, and 7NOW make it easy to enjoy snacks at home.
